As technology advances, media applications continue to transform education and engagement. Healthcare stakeholders can access a myriad of multi-dimensional learning opportunities, that are improving the retention of complex information. As visual learners, healthcare professionals are especially attracted to immersive multimedia bundled with extended reality applications, available to them at conferences, in office, or at home on a computer or mobile device.
At Confideo, we are focused on identifying new ways to help pharmaceutical marketers create experiences that connect with customers in new and innovative ways. Lately, many brands have turned to augmented reality, which overlays digitally created content (animations, holograms, video) into a viewer’s real-world environment, to optimize storytelling.
Recently, Confideo has pioneered the inclusion of volumetric video capture to enable 3D holographic deployments of patients and/or physicians that redefine marketing and storytelling.
Volumetric video is a highly specialized capture process that we execute with 100 + cameras arranged around a patient, physician, or actor to capture performances from every angle. The holographic performances are then integrated into an AR application, producing the illusion that the hologram is standing and speaking to the customer. We pair the holographic performance with animated digital integrations such as charts and graphs to magically redefine engagement in ways that notably connect with healthcare professionals like never before.
